Hawzah News Agency- Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, congratulated Iran's leadership and people on the appointment, considering it in a post on his X account as a "message of loyalty" and "evidence of the cohesion, unity, and readiness of the system and the people''.
He affirmed that Iran and its people are "unbreakable in facing all conspiracies'', praying to Allah for victory over the enemies, America and the Israeli enemy.
In a separate statement, the Political Bureau of Ansarullah also congratulated Iran on the selection during this "important and critical juncture''.
Ansarullah affirmed that the choice represents "a new victory for the Islamic Revolution and a resounding blow to the enemies of the Islamic Republic and the enemies of the Ummah''.
Ansarullah expressed confidence that under the new Leader, Iran will "march towards achieving a great victory that charts the features of pride and dignity for the Ummah in the face of global tyranny and arrogance''.
The statement concluded by calling upon the Islamic Ummah and free people worldwide to show greater solidarity with the Iranian people, who are subjected to American-Zionist aggression.
The selection of Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Ali Khamenei as the third Supreme Leader of Iran follows the martyrdom of his father, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in US-Israeli airstrikes on February 28, 2026.
His appointment comes amid heightened regional tensions, with ongoing American-Zionist aggression against Iran that also claimed the lives of several family members. The United States had previously imposed sanctions on Mojtaba Khamenei in 2019.
This marks only the second leadership transition in the Islamic Republic's history since the 1979 revolution, signaling the continuation of Iran's path of resistance against the global arrogance and tyranny.
